5QChannel Reading Website is a digital storytelling website full of culturally authentic stories. The web design is aimed at helping children to read classic stories online. We make an effort to portray tough classics in animation form and also to make it easier to read. The content of the website includes subjects like traditional customs, rhymes, classics, morals and the wisdom of Confucious, etc. We endeavor to help all readers around the world to read Chinese classics easily. We will update 4-5 new stories on this website on a monthly basis. The number of stories as well as the functions and facilities will be expanded. For example, in 2008 we added a Simplified Chinese platform and in 2009 we added an English platform so that readers can watch three versions of animation at one time.

In order to make the Classics easier to read, we need to present those stories in many volumes. Each story is presented in high quality and with exquisite pictures and animations, which makes it more time consuming. We appreciate your patience in waiting for our monthly update.

For example, Journey to the West, written by Wu Cheng'en, is a thick classical novel from the Chinese literature. The story is very long and complicated and was written in over 100 volumes. Therefore, we need to present the story in many animations.
